Kasee Stratton is a faculty member at Mississippi State University in the College of Education, where she conducts pioneering research on CHARGE syndrome—one of only two researchers globally focusing on this rare genetic condition. She founded the Bulldog CHARGE Syndrome Research Laboratory and co-directs the university’s Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinic.
Her research focuses on improving the lives of children with CHARGE syndrome and other developmental disabilities. Her work bridges clinical psychology, behavioral intervention, and family support, with an emphasis on translating research into practical, day-to-day improvements for affected children. She is also deeply involved in policy and professional regulation through her role as secretary of the Mississippi Autism Board.
Stratton has been recognized by the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation for her significant contributions to families affected by CHARGE. Her leadership extends to state-level advocacy and clinical service development.
She advises on clinical training and developmental research initiatives and leads funded projects through the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation. Her lab serves as both a research and public awareness platform.
She leads the Bulldog CHARGE Syndrome Research Laboratory, one of only two such labs in the world, and plays a key role in the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Clinic at MSU.
