Karyn Dossinger is an Assistant Professor of Management and the Graduate Program Director for the MS in Human Resources at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago. She is based in Schreiber Hall, Room 708, and can be reached at kdossinger@luc.edu or (312) 915-6406.
Her research and teaching focus on organizational behavior and human resource management, with particular interest in how individuals navigate key career transitions such as career choice, onboarding, and retirement planning. She also investigates the role of curiosity in fostering employee learning, development, and creativity in the workplace.
Karyn brings over a decade of professional experience in human resources and marketing strategy consulting to her academic work, enriching her pedagogy and research with practical insights. She earned her PhD in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
She is actively engaged in curriculum development and academic leadership as the Graduate Program Director, shaping the future of HR education at Quinlan.
