Karuna M. Raj, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Neuroradiology Division. She serves as Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency and Assistant Designated Institutional Official (DIO). Dr. Raj joined UTSW in 2017 after roles at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she was an Assistant Professor and Associate Program Director. Her academic leadership spans residency/fellowship training programs and institutional governance committees.

Professional involvement includes leadership roles in the Radiological Society of North America, Association of Academic Radiologists, and American Society of Neuroradiology. Her educational advocacy extends through institutional committees and mentorship of junior trainees.
