Karolina Habało

Karolina Habało is an Assistant Professor at the Instrumental Department of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, Poland. She graduated with distinction from the same institution in the class of Professor Henryk Keszkowski and furthered her studies at the Musikhochschule in Luzern, Switzerland, under Professor Sebastian Hamann. Habało has collaborated with renowned ensembles and musicians in historical performance and contemporary music, including Le Concert des Nations, Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense, and Jordi Savall.

She specializes in baroque violin, chamber music, and historical performance practice. Her research interests also extend to contemporary music and the Sturm und Drang era, co-founding the Ensemble Sanguineus and contributing to projects like the premiere of the opera-ballet 'Seven Planets' in Wilanów Palace (2022).
