Karma Lekshe Tsomo is a Professor of Buddhist Studies at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and an active scholar-activist. Her work bridges academic research with social engagement through organizations such as Sakyadhita International Association of Buddhist Women, Sakyadhita Hawai‘i, and Jamyang Foundation, which supports education for girls and women in developing countries.
