Karla Jessen Williamson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Foundations at the University of Saskatchewan. She holds a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Aberdeen (2006) and multiple education degrees from the University of Saskatchewan, including a Master's (1992), Post Graduate Diploma (1987), and Bachelor's (1983). Her research focuses on Aboriginal peoples' knowledge systems, gender relations, and Arctic governance, with emphasis on Inuit worldviews and resilience in Indigenous communities.
