Prof. Dr. Karl-Peter Traub is a Professor of Geoinformation Systems and Land Management at HafenCity University Hamburg (HCU), leading the Geomatik programs. He holds a PhD in Geography, Geology, and Soil Science from Philipps University Marburg. His expertise spans geoinformation technology, remote sensing, and coastal zone management, with a focus on integrating GIS into urban planning and environmental monitoring.
