Karl Gratzer is a Senior Professor of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development at Södertörn University (since 2013), holding a PhD from the Faculty of Social Sciences (1996). He has held multiple academic roles, including Visiting Professorships at Linköping and Gothenburg Universities, and serves as a council member of the Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum and board member of Insolvensrättslig Forum. His research focuses on entrepreneurship, small business dynamics, economic history, and firm demography in Sweden and Eastern Europe.
Education: PhD in 1996 (awarded Best Dissertation in Social Sciences 1995/96), Docent title in Economic History at Stockholm University (2002).
