Karl Delbé

Karl Delbé is an Associate Professor at the University of Technology of Tarbes, affiliated with the Laboratoire Génie de Production (LGP). His research focuses on tribology and material science, particularly dry friction dynamics and Raman spectroscopy applications in extreme conditions, with industry partnerships like Safran Aircraft Engine, Mersen, and Liebherr Aerospace Coating.

Scientific activities involve co-supervising 7 PhD theses (4 ongoing) and managing the LGP Tribology and Raman spectroscopy platform. He collaborates with institutions such as University of Lille, CIRIMAT, and LTDS on tribofilms and composite materials.
