Karin Meißner

Prof. Dr. Karin Meißner is a Professor at Coburg University of Applied Sciences within the Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences and Health, actively leading interdisciplinary research in women's health and integrative medicine. Her work bridges biomedical science with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practices like Qigong and Tai Chi.

Her research portfolio spans critical health domains including menstrual migraine pathophysiology, TCM applications for women's health, and AI-supported stress management systems. Current projects analyze biological/psychosocial migraine triggers (2024-2025), Yangsheng methodologies in Taiwan (2024), and transformer-based AI for sustainable stress interventions (2024-2026), all emphasizing the HRK One Health framework.
