Karin Kaerwer

Karin Kaerwer is a Professor in the Department of Education at Roanoke College. Her research focuses on equitable access to public education through a social foundations framework, emphasizing teacher recruitment of color, culturally relevant pedagogy, rural education, and policy analysis. She teaches pedagogical methods courses in math, social studies, and education psychology, supervises student teachers, and offers an INQ 260 general education course.
