Karin Hassenberg

Karin Hassenberg is a Research Associate and Head of Infrastructure Central Analytics at the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB) in Potsdam, Germany. She has been with ATB since 2001 and holds a doctorate in Chemistry from TU Berlin. Her work focuses on agricultural engineering with emphasis on food safety, post-harvest technologies, and microbial analysis of fresh produce.
