Karin Forslund Frykedal is a Senior Associate Professor at Linköping University, affiliated with the Department of Behavioural Sciences and Learning (IBL) and the Division of Education, Teaching and Learning (PEDI). Her research focuses on cooperation and communication in small groups, particularly in compulsory school settings and parent education within primary healthcare. She holds a PhD in Education (2008) and became an Associate Professor in 2015.
Her research areas include students' group work dynamics, assessment challenges in cooperative learning, and leadership in parent education groups. Key collaborators include Eva Hammar Chiriac (Linköping University) and Mia Barimani (Karolinska Institutet). She is a member of IASCE (International Association for the Study of Cooperation in Education).
