Karin Baumgartner

Karin Baumgartner is a Professor in the Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Utah, where she has held faculty positions since 2005, advancing to full professor in 2017. A first-generation college graduate and immigrant, she emphasizes the transformative power of education and mentoring, advocating for students to explore beyond conventional boundaries in literature, cultural studies, and the digital humanities.
