Dr. Kari Morgan is a Teaching Associate Professor at Kansas State University, serving as Program Chair for the Integrative Human Sciences and Family and Community Services graduate program. She coordinates Health and Human Sciences Well-being courses and teaches a variety of online and on-campus classes in human development, family sciences, and integrative studies. Dr. Morgan holds a Ph.D. in Child and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an M.S. in Family and Community Development from the University of Maryland, and a B.S. in Home Economics/Child & Family Studies from the University of Wyoming.
Her research focuses on undergraduate education pedagogy, family well-being, and experiential learning. Notable projects include studies on barriers to undergraduate research participation and ethics education through storytelling. Dr. Morgan has over 20 years of experience in teaching, including roles at the USDA Family Economics Research Group, University of Wisconsin Extension, and community-based organizations.
She actively mentors students through internships and capstone projects, emphasizing career preparation and professional ethics. Dr. Morgan is involved in community organizations and volunteers in her local area, maintaining ties to K-State athletics and community initiatives.
