Karen Ting Chang

Karen Ting Chang, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Physiology and Neuroscience at the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine. Her research focuses on synaptic plasticity, mitochondrial dynamics, and molecular mechanisms in neurodegenerative diseases and developmental disorders. Using Drosophila models, she investigates how pathways like secretory autophagy, DSCR1 regulation, and integrin signaling affect neural function.
