Karen Thorpe-Williams

Mrs Karen Thorpe-Williams is a Senior Lecturer and Course Manager for the Bar Professional Training Course (full-time) at the Faculty of Business and Law, University of the West of England (UWE). She holds qualifications as a Solicitor and Barrister, with expertise in advocacy training and legal education.

Qualifications:

Her teaching areas include Conferencing, Professional Ethics, Criminal Advocacy, and Civil Advocacy. She brings practical experience from her prior practice in Criminal Law to her academic role.

As an accredited advocacy trainer, she plays a key role in shaping legal professionals through both full-time and part-time modes of the BPTC program.
