Karen Stelly is an Adjunct Instructor at Lamar University within the College of Earth and Space Sciences. She holds a M.S. in Geology (2001) and a B.S. in Geology (1997).
- Research Interests: Geology, Sedimentology, Paleoclimatology, and Plate Tectonics, focusing on snowball Earth hypothesis, tidal marsh sedimentation, and Neoproterozoic paleogeography.
Publications highlight her work on sedimentary processes (1996–2001), snowball Earth climate indicators (2000–2001), and educational contributions via geology lab manuals (1998–2001). She has contributed to the Geological Society of America (GSA) abstracts and conference proceedings.
