Karen Le Feuvre is a Senior Lecturer in Construction Management at the University of South Wales, within the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science. She serves as Course Leader for the undergraduate BSc Construction Project Management program and teaches courses in construction technology, construction management, project management, and BIM. With over 20 years of industry experience as an RIBA Chartered Architect, she transitioned to academia in 2018 after holding roles such as Senior Associate Director at a large architectural practice.
Education and Qualifications:
- RIBA Chartered Architect
- Extensive private practice experience in the UK and Asia (1992–2013)
Research and Expertise: Specializes in the delivery of large-scale multi-building developments, including feasibility studies, project programming, resource planning, and stakeholder management. Her expertise spans diverse sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial, defense, and interiors. She emphasizes practical industry applications of construction management principles and BIM technologies.
