Dr Karen Duke is a Professor in Criminology at Middlesex University, affiliated with the Faculty of Business and Law and the Department of Law and Social Sciences. She co-directs the Drug and Alcohol Research Centre and serves as Editor-in-Chief of Drugs: Education, Prevention and Policy. Her research focuses on drugs policy, criminal justice systems, harm reduction in prisons, and youth substance use prevention. She coordinates the university’s REF 2021 submission for Social Policy and Social Work.
