Karen Carrera

Karen Carrera is a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley and an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She earned her Juris Doctor from UC Hastings in 1992 and is a partner at Villegas Carrera, LLP, specializing in employment discrimination and wage/hour class actions. Actively engaged in community service, she serves on non-profit boards and has received multiple honors for legal advocacy in under-served communities.

Her academic focus includes:
