Her research centers on mindfulness and self-compassion interventions for adolescent psychological well-being. With nearly 40 years of mindfulness practice and 18 years of classroom experience, she develops evidence-based curricula targeting youth mental health resilience. Her work bridges clinical research with practical educational applications through community workshops and teacher training.
Dr. Bluth co-created the Making Friends with Yourself: A Mindful Self-Compassion Program for Teens curriculum and authored The Self-Compassion Workbook for Teens (New Harbinger Publishers). She actively conducts workshops for educators and community groups, translating research into accessible practices for adolescent populations. Her mentorship extends through program development rather than formal student advisement as described in available materials.
