Dr Kanta Dihal is an Assistant Professor in Science Communication at Imperial College London, where she serves as Course Director for the MSc in Science Communication. She is also an Associate Fellow at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence, University of Cambridge.
- Research focuses on science narratives, particularly science fiction, and their impact on public perceptions and scientific development
- Co-editor of AI Narratives (2020) and Imagining AI (2023)
- Holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford on the communication of quantum physics
- Advises international governmental organizations and NGOs
