Kamila Premji is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine. She is also a Clinical Researcher at the Institut du Savoir Montfort and an Ownership Partner at the Central Ottawa Family Medicine Associates (since 2015). Her clinical practice focuses on comprehensive primary care for a diverse urban patient population.
Research Interests: Dr. Premji’s work centers on health services and policy, with emphasis on primary care access, relational continuity, telemedicine, healthcare system integration, and innovative approaches to care coordination. She actively uses social media (Twitter, Facebook) and blogs (e.g., Healthy Debate) for knowledge translation.
