Kamil Kruczkowski

Kamil Kruczkowski is an Assistant Professor at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk and serves as the first trumpet of the Baltic Opera. He holds a doctorate in musical arts and has been a prominent figure in trumpet performance, chamber music, and music education.

Education: Graduate of Feliks Nowowiejski Music School (Gdańsk) and the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he studied under Prof. Szymon Pawłowski and Mgr. Adam Stachowiak. He completed a doctoral thesis in 2019.

Research interests focus on trumpet performance techniques, chamber music collaborations, and pedagogical approaches in artistic education. He actively organizes festivals and competitions, including the International Trumpet Competition 'Little Trumpeter in Great Trumpets' and the Gdańsk International Trumpet Festival.

Performance highlights include solo engagements with the Polish Chamber Philharmonic Sopot and Baltic Philharmonic, as well as international collaborations in Europe and Asia. He has premiered works by contemporary composers like Kamil Cieślik and participated in recordings for labels like CD Accord and DUX.

As an educator, he teaches trumpet at the Academy and Gdańsk Music School, conducts workshops internationally, and advises the Center for Artistic Education in Warsaw. His ensembles, Quintet Brass and Tutte Trombe, have earned awards in Poland and abroad.
