Kamil Adamczak is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prehistory at the Faculty of History, Nicolaus Copernicus University (Toruń, Poland). He leads the Center for Applied Archaeology (CAA) and specializes in prehistoric archaeology, focusing on Neolithic, Bronze Age, and archaeological materials such as ceramics and metallurgical artifacts. His research integrates methods like XRF analysis, with particular attention to N Poland pottery, TRB (Funnelbeaker culture), and flint tool studies.
He holds a PhD awarded in 2011 and has authored 58 publications, led 3 research projects, and contributed to archaeological fieldwork in regions like the Chełmno Land and Pomerania. His work bridges theoretical archaeology with applied methods, emphasizing material culture and cultural transitions in early European societies.
