Kambe Banda

Kambe Banda is a Research Fellow affiliated with the UNC School of Medicine and the Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She serves as an Investigator at UNC Project Malawi, where she conducts research on clinical associations with kidney disease in the emerging adult sickle cell population under the mentorship of Drs. Jane Little, Luke Eastburg, and Irving Hoffman.

Her work bridges global health, infectious diseases, and clinical medicine, focusing on the intersection of sickle cell disease and kidney complications in Malawi. This research contributes to understanding and addressing health disparities in resource-limited settings.
