Kalota Stewart

Dr. Kalota Stewart is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Richard Bland College. She holds a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science (Virginia State University, 2000), an MSc in Mathematics Education (Virginia State University, 2002), and an MSc in Applied Mathematics (Virginia Tech, 2003). She completed PhD ABD status in Applied Mathematics at Virginia Tech and later earned an Ed.D. in Educational Administration and Supervision (Virginia State University, 2022). She is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

Her research interests span Social Foundations of Education, Psychological Studies, Human Behavior Studies, Leadership Studies, Data Analysis, and STEM Education. Notable publications include work on STEM education for pre-service teachers and climate change education initiatives.
