Kajsa Weber is an associate professor and researcher at the Department of History, Lund University, and coordinator of the research platform DigitalHistory@Lund. She is affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities and Theology and actively contributes to administrative and academic networks, including the Lund Center for the History of Knowledge (LUCK).
- Administrative roles: Programme Coordinator at the National Graduate School of Historical Studies (since 2014), member of the Faculty Board (2024–), and former Board member of Scandia (2017–2022).
Research Interests:
- Critical studies of digitization and remediation of historical sources
- Reformation and confessionalization processes
- Early modern Lutheranism and print media
- Translation practices and knowledge history
Projects: Led the SRNB database project (2022–2023), participated in Mare Lutheranum (2016–2020), and contributes to networks like DigitalHistory@Lund and the Nordic History of Knowledge group.
Scientific Awards:
- Elected member of Verein für Reformationsgeschichte (2016)
Advising: Member of the supervisory commission for PhD researcher Sari Timonen (ecclesiastical history, University of Helsinki, since 2020).
