Kajsa Larson serves as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Languages and Cultures within Bethel University's College of Arts and Sciences, commencing her role in Fall 2025. She teaches Spanish language courses while specializing in 20th and 21st century literature and culture of Spain.
Her academic foundation includes:
- B.A. in Spanish and Political Science from Gustavus Adolphus College (2001)
- M.A. in Hispanic Literature from the University of Minnesota (2005)
- Ph.D. in Hispanic and Lusophone Literatures, Cultures, and Linguistics from the University of Minnesota (2010)
Her research centers on modern Spanish literary movements and cultural evolution, with significant expertise in linguistic pedagogy and cross-cultural analysis of Iberian and Lusophone contexts. This specialization informs both her classroom instruction and community engagement initiatives.
During her 15-year tenure at Northern Kentucky University, she combined Spanish professorship with community coordination duties, developing student mentorship programs and local cultural partnerships that bridged academic theory with practical community applications.
