Kajsa Igelström is an Associate Professor at Linköping University, affiliated with the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences (BKV) in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. Her research focuses on understanding how brain function variations relate to strengths and challenges in autism and ADHD. She leads projects using virtual reality (VR) and brain imaging to study perception, attention, and cognitive function in affected individuals. Additionally, she directs the international Extraordinary Brains initiative to enhance societal acceptance of neurodevelopmental differences.
