Kaiyuan Yang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University, leading the Secure and Intelligent Micro-Systems (SIMS) Lab. His research focuses on low-power integrated circuits and bioelectronic implants for applications like the Internet of Everything and medical devices. He holds a B.S. from Tsinghua University (2012) and M.S./Ph.D. degrees from the University of Michigan (2017).
