Baibhab Chatterjee is an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. His research focuses on developing energy-efficient integrated circuits and systems for biomedical IoT applications, neural implants, and secure body area networks.
Research interests include ultra-low power circuits for biomedical sensors, novel wireless communication techniques through human tissues, brain-computer interfaces, and hardware security for implantable devices. His lab develops innovative solutions for next-generation healthcare monitoring and intervention systems.
Recent publications demonstrate expertise in wireless power transfer for implants, in-memory computing architectures, and communication techniques optimized for the human body environment. The work consistently addresses challenges of miniaturization, power efficiency, and reliability in biomedical systems.
