Dr. Kaitlyn Weber is an Instructional Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University, affiliated with the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences and the Department of Agricultural Economics. She joined TAMU in August 2022, focusing on teaching (90%) and service (10%).
Education:
- B.S. Agricultural Business, Fort Hays State University
- Ph.D. Agricultural Economics, Kansas State University
Research & Teaching: Her expertise spans Livestock Economics, Animal Health, and Risk Management. She teaches courses such as AGEC 105 (Introduction to Agricultural Economics), AGEC 314 (Marketing Food and Agricultural Products), and AGEC 340 (Agribusiness Management).
Service & Affiliations: Dr. Weber leads the Departmental Graduate Student Case Study team for the Annual Agricultural & Applied Economics Association Conference and serves as Faculty Liaison for the International Fresh Produce Association Pack Family Career Pathways Program. She is a member of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, AgriLife Research, and related entities.
