Kaisa Soini

Kaisa Soini is a University Lecturer in Architecture, active since 2009. She holds a Master of Science in Architecture (1994, Cranbrook Academy of Art) and a Master of Architecture (Cranbrook Academy of Art, 1992–1994). Since 1995, she has maintained a parallel career as a professional artist. Her research focuses on painting, land art, and contemporary art exhibitions, with notable works exploring urban design, material innovation, and cultural narratives. Soini has curated and participated in numerous exhibitions, including Puutarhasta rakennustyömaalle (2024) and MONOA & KROMIA (2023). Her work bridges architectural theory with artistic practice, emphasizing public engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.
