Professor Kai Spiekermann holds the position of Professor of Political Philosophy in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research focuses on epistemic democracy, social epistemology, and the philosophy of the social sciences. He employs formal methods, computational models, and experiments to address normative and positive questions in political theory.

His work bridges analytical political philosophy with empirical social science.

His teaching focuses on political theory, social epistemology, and PPE. Currently supervising six doctoral students, he emphasizes analytical approaches that integrate political philosophy with game theory and social choice theory.
