Kai-Ping Su

Kai-Ping Su is an Associate Professor at National Taiwan University's College of Law (2018–present) and holds a joint appointment with the Department of Forensic Medicine at the College of Medicine (2023–present). He also serves as Deputy Director of NTU's University Research Center for Innovative Enterprise Law (2024–present) and was a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne (2024–2026). With a J.S.D. and LL.M. from UC Berkeley and LL.B./LL.M. from NTU, Su combines practical legal experience as a former attorney with interdisciplinary research on digital technology's impact on criminal justice.

He has led significant research projects on statistical evidence, generative AI, and technological monitoring systems, funded by Taiwan's National Science and Technology Council and Judicial Yuan.

Recent publications analyze trends in digital evidence verification, constitutional due process in digital courts, and AI's role in sentencing. His work combines empirical legal studies with technical analysis of blockchain and data-driven judicial decision-making.
