Kahlil Green

Kahlil Green is a social work educator, researcher, and clinician affiliated with the University of the District of Columbia (UDC), where he serves as the Director of Field Education since 2024. He teaches courses such as Practicum I, Intro to Social Science, and Social Work Practice II within the Department of Education, Health and Social Work under the College of Arts and Sciences.

His research focuses on Black youth mental health, social justice, and racial disparities in child welfare and school discipline policies. He has published extensively on these topics, including studies on corporal punishment, stereotypes of Black males, and welfare reform's impact on African Americans.

Green has received notable recognitions, including a James Madison University Underrepresented Minority Dissertation-Year Fellowship (2022-23) and scholarships from Howard University and Kappa Alpha Psi. His work bridges clinical practice, interdisciplinary research, and innovative pedagogy to address systemic inequities.
