Dr. Kadir Atlansoy is a Turkish academic specializing in Ottoman history and Classical Turkish literature, currently serving as a full-time Lecturer at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Faculty of Theology, Department of Islamic History and Arts. He previously held academic roles at Eastern Mediterranean University (1997-2006), Afyon Kocatepe University (2012-2013), and Yarmouk University (2016-2019).

- BA in Turkish Language and Literature from Atatürk University (1979)
His research focuses on Ottoman biographical literature, Sufi poetry, and historical manuscript analysis. He has supervised 9 master's theses and contributed to projects like the Social and Cultural History of Turkey Project (1985-2000) and the Turkish Literature Names Dictionary Project (2012-2015).
Recent publications explore topics such as Sabayî's Sırât-ı Müstakîm Mesnevî (2023), Vesiletü'n-Necat's prophetic narratives (2023), and 20th-century Turkish cultural trends. His work bridges historical analysis with literary criticism, emphasizing Sufi influences and biographical sources.
