Ka Kit Hui

Ka Kit Hui is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He serves as Director of the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine and Co-Director of the UCLA Center for Integrative Medicine. His clinical program at the Center for East-West Medicine exceeds 5,000 patient visits annually, with referrals from over 100 UCLA physicians.

Research Interests include:

• Acupuncture and cardiovascular regulation
• Correlation between brain MRI and Chinese medical diagnostics in hypertension
• Educational programs in integrative medicine with outcome evaluation
• Drug discovery from plant-based products
• Clinical approaches to improve quality of life for chronic pain and cancer patients
