KORAY ÇAMLICA

Koray Çamlıca is a Doctor Lecturer at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University's Faculty of Tourism. He holds a Doctorate in Tourism Management (2017) and a Master’s degree in Tourism (2014). His academic roles include Research Assistant since 2013 and current Lecturer position since 2021. He teaches courses like Tourism Marketing, Statistics, and Gastronomy at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Research Focus: His work centers on sustainable tourism, heritage site impacts, tourist behavior analysis, and Cappadocia region studies. Key projects include evaluating UNESCO World Heritage Site effects on tourist emotions and analyzing Airbnb's role in Göreme's tourism.

• Grants: Led EU-funded projects on entrepreneurship education (SEQUEL) and contributed to TÜBİTAK projects on tourism film impact analysis.
• Publications: Authored 12 books and over 30 peer-reviewed papers, including works on sustainable gastronomy and tourist satisfaction.
• Supervised Theses: Currently mentoring 4 ongoing theses and completed Erdinç Kurt's 2022 study on GÖREME destination management.

Administrative Roles: Served on the Quality Board (2018) and actively participates in academic program development.
