KOH Siew Lin

Dr. KOH Siew Lin is an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Programmes Director for Year 2 at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, National University of Singapore. She holds a PhD in Medicine from the University of Melbourne and teaches in areas such as professionalism, women’s and children’s health, and evidence-based practice. Her research focuses on patient safety, quality assurance, and interprofessional education.

Her work includes developing national quality assurance frameworks at the Ministry of Health (2009–2016) and advancing midwifery practices at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She coordinates research activities and nursing quality improvement strategies to enhance patient outcomes.

Publications highlight her contributions to patient safety, diabetes management, and nursing education. Awards include the 2019 Teaching Excellence Award from NUS’s Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
