KEMAL YILDIZ

Prof. Dr. Kemal Yıldız is a Professor and Head of the Department of Social Policy at Bandirma Onyedi Eylül University's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He has held roles such as Deputy Head of Department and Director of the Research Application Center. His academic career includes serving as an Associate Professor from 2016 to 2019 and Associate Lecturer prior to that. He has been actively involved in research projects, including studies on labor market analysis and ex-convict integration. His teaching spans courses like Labor and Social Security Law, Social Policy, and Employment and Unemployment.

Research interests focus on labor economics, social policy implementation, migration issues, and institutional frameworks. He has authored/co-authored books and book sections on topics such as labor market policies and entrepreneurship. His work includes analyses of urbanization challenges, agricultural insurance systems, and gender-driven migration patterns. He has advised numerous theses on labor rights, social security, and workplace conditions. Administrative roles include membership in university committees and coordination of international exchange programs.

He has published extensively on labor law, organizational culture, and policy effectiveness, with recent focus on pandemic impacts on employment and agricultural labor. His research collaborations include projects funded by TÜBİTAK and the university's BAP program. He is also an editorial board member of non-SCI-indexed journals in social sciences.
