KAM Tin Seong is a Full-time Associate Professor of Information Systems (Practice) at the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS), Singapore Management University (SMU). He holds a PhD from the University of London (1995) and specializes in geospatial analytics, data science, and decision support systems. His research focuses on integrating spatial explicit machine learning, urban sustainability, healthcare analytics, and social media insights.
His teaching includes courses like Computer as an Analysis Tool, Geospatial Analytics for Business Intelligence, and Visual Analytics for Business Intelligence. He leads the Data Analytics Lab and advises students such as SUN Bing.
