Esra Suel

Dr Esra Suel serves as an Honorary Research Fellow at the School of Public Health within the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London. Her research leverages emerging digital data sources including street-level imagery, high-resolution satellite data, and mobile phone records to characterize urban environmental exposures and socio-economic conditions at fine spatial scales. She maintains active affiliations with the Earth Observation Network and the Epidemiology and Biostatistics research group.

Her methodological focus integrates data-driven machine learning approaches with traditional hypothesis-driven modeling to combine the scalability of digital data with semantic richness of conventional sources.
