Sarah-Jane Murray is a Professor at Baylor University, holding dual appointments in the Honors College's Great Texts Program and the Department of Film & Digital Media. Her academic journey began with classical languages at Princeton University (Ph.D. and M.A. in Romance Languages and Literatures), preceded by study at Ecole Normale Supérieure Lettres et Sciences Humaines and Auburn University (B.A.).

Her research explores storytelling's role in human flourishing and democratic resilience.
