Jüri Allik is Professor of Experimental Psychology at the University of Tartu's Institute of Psychology, where he serves as department head. His research spans personality psychology, cross-cultural studies, visual perception, and cognitive neuroscience.
Major research initiatives include the Estonian Biobank personality cohort study examining genetic and environmental influences on traits. Publications investigate universal patterns in personality across cultures, genetic correlates of psychological traits, and perceptual processes like numerosity judgment and orientation discrimination.
