Jürgen Zentek is a Professor at the Free University of Berlin, affiliated with the Institute of Animal Nutrition under the Department of Veterinary Medicine. His research focuses on mechanisms of feed additives, poultry nutrition, canine and feline nutrition, interactions between nutritional factors and the immune system, microbiology, molecular biology, probiotics, prebiotics, digestive physiology, and advanced laboratory analytics. He led the Una Europa Summer School 'Bridging Disciplines for One Health Solutions' in 2025 and participated in departmental outreach events like the open day on June 14, 2025.
