Jürgen Schlumbohm

Jürgen Schlumbohm is a historian specializing in social, cultural, and economic history of Europe from the 17th to 19th centuries. He has held positions at multiple institutions, including Visiting Professor roles at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS), Paris; Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), Paris; and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He served as Privatdozent and Acting Professor at Oldenburg and Braunschweig Universities.
