Jürgen Hennig

Prof. Dr. Dr. Jürgen Hennig serves as a W3 Professor of Differential and Biological Psychology within the Department of Psychology and Sports Science at Justus Liebig University Giessen. With over three decades of academic service at JLU Giessen, he has established himself as a leading researcher in the biological foundations of human behavior, directing an active laboratory with multiple master's students and research staff. His career progression from scientific assistant (1990-1995) to C2 Hochschuldozent (2001) and ultimately to his current W3 professorship (since 2007) demonstrates sustained academic excellence and leadership.
